Job Description:Parsons is seeking a Software Engineer / Research Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will design and implement Python-based applications, develop and maintain machine learning pipelines, and collaborate with a cross-functional team in a Linux development environment. You will be responsible for managing codebases through version control, building CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring software quality through integration and testing practices. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern ML frameworks and contribute to innovative, real-world technology deployments.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Python development experience with focus on object-oriented programming practices.
- Extensive experience with scripting and programming, such as bash and python web frameworks, and developmental environment libraries, such as pip or anaconda.
- Familiarity with Machine Learning architectures (Pytorch, ONNX, Tensorflow)
- Experience with Linux development environments, as well as maintaining code base documentation and git repositories.
- Version/source control software (git/github/bitbucket) as well as implementing CI/CD pipelines, integration testing, and quality testing is critical.
- Team development experience is a plus.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Experience with React full stack development.
- Experience with C++ development.
- Familiarity with machine learning model deployment on edge devices (Jetson Nano/Orin, Raspberry Pi, etc.).
- Familiarity working with Docker and containerized environments.

Salary Range: $74,800.00 - $130,900.00
