The job details are as follows:As a Software Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications that support identity and access management capabilities for OCLC applications & services. You will collaborate with team members to solve problems, implement new features, and maintain existing systems. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, refine, and implement features and enhancements.
Responsibilities:
- Independently write, test, and debug code for assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with other team members to solve problems.
- Contribute to design discussions and code reviews.
- Direct and monitor AI tools to generate, review, and refactor code.
- Optimize application performance and scalability.
- Maintain security and privacy standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of relevant software development experience.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience integrating AI tools, frameworks, and concepts into the software development process.
- Knowledge of database systems.
- Experience with software development methodologies.
