Job Description Summary
As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Looking for a Python with strong experience in PyTest/Selenium or Playwright, capable of building scalable automation frameworks, integrating with CI/CD pipelines, and validating both UI and API layers."

1) Core Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Python Development
• Strong hands-on experience in Python (3+ years typical)
• Proficiency in:
oOOP concepts, modular design
oData structures and algorithms
oPackage management and dependency handling
• Experience building scalable applications and utilities

Test Automation Frameworks
• Experience with at least one Python-based automation stack:
oPyTest / unittest frameworks
oSelenium WebDriver for UI automation
oPlaywright (modern web automation)

Automation Coverage
• Ability to automate:
oUI testing (web apps)
oAPI testing (REST services)
oIntegration / system testing
• Good understanding of:
oTest design (BDD/TDD concepts)
oTest data management
oAssertions and validations

QA Testing
• Create and Execute Manual testcases for both UI and backend applications
• Experience using Jira and generating Test summary reports.

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
• Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
