Project Description: The purpose of this project is to provide support to John Deere's Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) for the development of Gen 4 and Gen 5 display software. This includes the design, software development, analysis of new features, and resolution of Gen 4 and Gen 5 software defects.

Job Duties: - Work as a Software Engineer on the Gen4/5 and 2630 Display Software Apps QI and RRT team, responsible for planning and efficient execution of system activities.
- Develop, debug, and investigate application software issues related to embedded applications and firmware for target systems.
- Implement and test software for Gen4/5 and 2630 Display Universal Displays.
- Work on performance-related tasks, platform applications (Tractor, Sprayer, etc.), and language-related defects to improve overall operating system performance.
- Work with different types of machines in the HIL lab to accurately diagnose and resolve issues.
- Develop software for John Deere displays using C, C++, Shell Scripting, Python, Qt, TCP/IP, and SQLite for Wind River Linux and Windows platforms.
- Integrate off-the-shelf third-party middleware such as Boost, DDS, Spatial Lite, and Red Bend.
- Integrate Qt, Docker, CAN, and other networking stacks.
- nalyze defects, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Write tests to validate software fixes.
- nalyze backtraces and core files and debug software using GDB.
- nalyze application performance and provide solutions to improve performance.
- Perform code integration and monitor build pipelines.
- Investigate and resolve build pipeline failures.
Required Skills: - 1-3 years of product testing of electronics or product development experience.
- 1-3 years of experience working in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Understanding of product development phases.
