OverviewThe Software Engineer III is a senior engineer who owns complex features, provides technical leadership, and mentors other engineers - including in the effective and responsible use of AI coding agents as part of the team's standard development practice.
Responsibilities- Lead design and implementation of complex features, using coding agents to accelerate multi-file and cross-service changes where appropriate.
- Make architectural decisions focused on scalability and maintainability, including structuring code and documentation so agents can operate on it reliably.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in effective prompting, context management, and critical review of AI-generated code.
- Define and share team best practices for when to use agentic tools, how to scope tasks for them, and how to validate their output.
- Influence sprint planning and technical direction, including estimating how AI-assisted development changes delivery timelines.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis, including for issues introduced by AI-generated code.
- Champion best practices across the team and evaluate new AI-assisted development tools and techniques.
- Own front-end architecture decisions: component structure, state management, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Partner with UX/design to translate designs into performant, maintainable UI using JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, and a modern front-end framework (Angular, React, or Vue).
- Champion front-end engineering standards - accessibility, performance, and testing - across the team.
Qualifications- 5-7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Deep expertise in C#, .NET, Angular, and SQL Server.
- Experience with distributed systems and APIs.
- Proven track record of using AI coding agents on complex, real-world changes, with strong judgment about their limitations and appropriate use.
- Proven technical leadership and mentoring ability, including coaching others on agent-assisted development.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.
