Responsibilities
  • Build features and improve infrastructure to support scaling Load Balancing products to meet the needs of our Google Cloud Platform customers.
  • Contribute to projects involving hardware qualification, low-level software integration, optimizing system performance, and enhancing our fleet management capabilities. Examples of team projects include Vendor-on-Net, Borgification (off-net and on-net), and XT-ToR.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners (e.g., hardware vendors, SRE teams, service owners) to deliver on project goals.
  • Improve system reliability, performance, security, and scalability across a large, distributed fleet.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software systems and features, primarily using C , Python, and Go.
