Role Overview
We are looking for a high-impact Software Engineer III with strong backend experience to design,develop, and scale distributed systems and backend services.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and build scalable backend systems and APIs
• Develop robust and production-grade applications
• Contribute to the design and development of services, frameworks, and distributed systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams
• Contribute to system design and technical decision-making
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4+ years of software engineering experience
• Experience with Python and/or Java
• Strong experience building scalable APIs and backend systems
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong problem-solving and system design capabilities
Good to Have
• Exposure to Golang and Typescript
• Experience in high-growth SaaS environments
• Exposure to data platforms or analytics systems
Base Salary Range: $147,918.75 - $216,947.50. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to work location and experience. The base salary is one component of 6sense's total compensation package for this position. Other compensation may include a bonus program or commission plan, and stock options if approved by 6sense's board.
