Software Engineer II.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Job Summary: SEACORP'sCombat Systems Business Area is seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedSoftware/DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The selected candidate willcontribute to the development, management, and configuration of developertools, pipelines and operating systems in a Linux environment. This positionoffers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers in aprofessional and technically focused environment.
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Participates in an Agile development process to produce reliable softwaresolutions for mission critical systems.
- Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logicaland mathematical solutions to business and mission problems.
- Participates in one or all of the software disciplines available including UI,Infrastructure and back-end development.
- Interfaces with Management, Software Engineers, Systems Engineers and TestEngineers to generate thorough investigations and solutions to problems.
- Is self-motivated to explore solutions to software issues and can communicatethem with the team.
Qualifications:Education: Bachelorof Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalentengineering/technical degree with a concentration in computer science courses.
Experience: At least 2-10 years' experience and provenperformance in software engineering, including problem analysis and resolution,requirements analysis and definition, design, code, and integration testing.
IdealSkills and Experience:
- Proven knowledge and experience around object-oriented programming.
- Advanced Linux skills (RedHat Enterprise Linux preferred).
- Experience with Git/GitLab/GitTea.
- Experience with C++ and/or Java.
- Experience with Python or Bash Scripting
- Experience with networking a preferred.
