Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cloud Infrastructure Management:
    • Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure and AWS for web application hosting (Web apps, Function apps, Storage accounts, SQL, VMs).
    • Deep understanding of networking as it relates to no public IP infrastructure and Hub-Spoke Topology (Private endpoints, VNets, Firewalls, NSG, Load Balancing)
    • Manage DNS configurations
    • Certificate lifecycle management
    • Oracle administration
    • Collaborate with security team to Implement industry standard cloud security practices (IAM, SSO, WAF, Endpoint Protection, Secure Architectural Design)
    • Ensure high availability and reliability of the cloud systems.
  2. Automated Build Pipelines:
    • Design, implement, and manage automated build pipelines and release processes using Azure DevOps.
    • Collaborate with development teams to enhance deployment strategies and manage software delivery processes.
  3. Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
    • Monitor system performance, respond to alerts, and conduct root cause analysis during outages or performance issues.
    • Work closely with IT and development teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
  4. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
    • Create and maintain documentation related to cloud architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
    • Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to equip team members with the necessary skills and information.
  5. Continuous Improvement:
    • Propose and implement best practices for DevOps processes and tools to improve operational efficiency.
    • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to DevOps.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and methodologies.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, Azure, deployment/release processes , function apps, storage accounts, VMs
  • Understanding of DNS, Certificate lifecycles, topology,
  • Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and continuous integration/deployment pipelines.
  • Understanding of networking as it relates to no public IP infrastructure and Hub-Spoke Topology (Private endpoints, VNets, Firewalls, NSG, Load Balancing)
