Position Description & QualificationsThe Army PPB BOS program is seeking a Software Engineer to deliver business intelligence solutions and to develop applications within a cloud-based environment.
In this role, you will:
- Apply knowledge of AWS operations, including services like EC2, S3, VPC, ELB, Auto Scaling Groups, Route 53, IAM, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, Lambda, SNS, and RDS.
- Develop Business Intelligence reports using Tableau and other tools
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications and systems
- Document, plan, and manage application activities
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An active secret security clearance
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant field
- 2 years of IT experience
- Ability to design, develop, implement, and maintain applications and systems
- Knowledge of current technologies and software
- Understanding of software development lifecycle processes
- Ability to plan, manage, and document application activities
- Understanding of Business Intelligence (Tableau) and AWS skills (Lambda, etc.)
- Familiarity with PPB BOS Business Processes
- The ability to travel up to 10% of the time
