Position Description & QualificationsAs our new
Logistics Analyst - Army, you will become part of our
Huntsville, AL based logistics team supporting the US Army's Counter Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) efforts in program planning and acquisitions. You will act as the primary advisor to the Product Support Manager CPE Defensive Fires and Logistics Management Directorate Leadership at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Serco provides logistics sustainment and contingency support to C-UAS both OCONUS (Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Qatar, South Korea, Djibouti, Japan, Philippines, & Guam) and CONUS (Redstone Arsenal, Yuma Proving Ground, and Fort Sill, OK) by, conducting logistics database administration, lifecycle management of supplies and reset services.
In this role, you will:- Serve as the Senior Logistician and designated team lead within CPE Defensive Fires.
- Directs team operations, prioritizes workflows, and ensures mission alignment across all logistics functions.
- Directs the development and execution of critical acquisition and sustainment documentation.
- This includes the Life Cycle Sustainment Plan, Core Logistics Analysis, Depot Source of Repair Analysis, and Materiel Fielding Plans.
- Present actionable intelligence and strategic guidance regarding varying logistics initiatives.
- Manages the Type Classification and Materiel Release processes, ensuring all systems meet stringent readiness and compliance standards prior to fielding.
- Acts as the primary document preparer and final senior reviewer for all written Milestone and LMD documentation (including SOPs), ensuring absolute accuracy and regulatory compliance prior to final leadership signature or concurrence.

To be successful in this role, you will have:- An active DoD Secret clearance
- A Bachelor's degree within a relevant field (Logistics or Supply Chain Management)
- A minimum of 10 years of Logistics, Planning, and/or Acquisition experience within Government or Military operations
- Your experience and understanding of new system equipment preparation for Logistics Lifecycle planning, from conception, through production, delivery, fielding, and sustainment will be required
- Strong presentation skills and knowledge of selected computer applications specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Documentation experience (LCSP, BOIPFD, etc.)
- Technical Publications experience (Army Logistics Publications/Technical Publications with C-UAS *Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems Product Support)
- Sustainment Strategy Development experience
- Acquisition Logistics experience
- Product Support experience
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Additional desired experience and skills:- Experience working with/for acquisition stakeholders: FCoE, FORSCOM, G-3/5/7, G-8, etc.
- Experience as Product Support Manager at GS-14/15 levels
- MS/MA or MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- Master Logistician Certificate or Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML)
- PMP Certification
