About the RoleWe're hiring a
Full Stack Software Engineer to work across our advertiser platform, attribution, and analytics systems. You'll own technical projects end to end - from scoping and design through implementation, deployment, and production maintenance. This role sits at the intersection of engineering and go-to-market, so the right person is excited to translate customer and business needs into robust product and technical solutions.
What You'll Do- Own technical projects end to end: scoping, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and ongoing production maintenance.
- Build reliable backend systems and design/consume production APIs (REST, gRPC) with attention to scalability and fault tolerance.
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot cloud services on AWS in production.
- Monitor production services, drive observability improvements, lead incident response, and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Work with data infrastructure - schema design, query optimization, and analytics/attribution pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with GTM stakeholders to turn customer needs into product and technical solutions.
What We're Looking ForRequired- Proven experience owning technical projects end to end in production environments.
- Hands-on experience building reliable backend systems and designing/consuming production APIs (REST, gRPC).
- Strong practical AWS experience - deploying, operating, and troubleshooting cloud services in production.
- Experience operating production services: monitoring, observability, incident response, and performance troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Python (Django and/or FastAPI), REST API design, and async patterns.
- Data expertise: PostgreSQL, query optimization, schema design.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (now or in the future).
Nice to Have- Experience with analytics, attribution, adtech, or event-driven/data pipelines and instrumentation for measurement and reporting.
- Experience with ClickHouse or other columnar OLAP databases at scale.
- Familiarity with containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
- Background in real-time data systems, event streaming (Kafka, Redis Streams), or high-throughput API design.
- Experience at an early-stage startup building product from zero to one, or at a major tech company shipping production code.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year

full-time, on-site role based in
San Francisco, CA. Candidates must be willing and able to work from the San Francisco office.
