About the roleMuon seeks a Software Engineer to join our Mission Frontend team. In this role you will build and ship features across our Mission Command platform, the consolidated frontend for mission operations, customer-facing tools, and internal workflows. You'll work in a modern TypeScript monorepo and contribute to establishing this platform as the canonical interface for managing constellations, scheduling contacts, and monitoring tasking at scale. Day to day, you'll own features end-to-end; from design through deployment and post-launch operational health, collaborating closely with the team on technical design, and shared foundations. You'll also be part of a team that treats AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, and similar) as a core part of the workflow, applying the same rigor to AI-generated output as to human-authored code. This is a high-impact role delivering reliable, high-performance, and accessible experiences that satellite operators and customers depend on every day.
This position is hybrid and requires working on-site in our San Jose, CA office three days per week.
