Who are we

Ema, a Series A startup founded by serial entrepreneurs and ex-Google, Coinbase, and Okta executives, is revolutionizing the AI landscape to empower employees across enterprises, unlocking their creativity and productivity. Backed by top investors and angels, we are transforming the way businesses operate. Currently in stealth mode in Silicon Valley, Ema is seeking a highly talented and experienced Full Stack Engineer with a focus on front-end development to join our founding team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building captivating user experiences while also contributing to back-end architecture and API integrations. This is a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact on a cutting-edge product.

In this role, You Will:
  1. Design, develop, and implement exceptional user interfaces for web applications, using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  2. Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, own the user experience, develop wireframes, and create high-fidelity prototypes.
  3. Develop and maintain API integrations, ensuring seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems, as well as with third-party services.
  4. Build, test, and deploy web applications using a variety of web development frameworks, such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Next.js.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related issues, guaranteeing a consistent and optimal user experience across multiple platforms and devices.
  6. Build end-to-end writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to established coding standards and deploy/debug using platforms like Vercel.


Ideally, you'd have:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in UI engineering, with a focus on API integration, data visualization, and web app development.
  3. Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience with modern front-end frameworks, such as React, Angular, Vue.js or Next.js.
  4. Experience with RESTful and gRPC APIs and API integration, as well as familiarity with JSON, XML, and OAuth.
  5. Knowledge of back-end technologies, such as Python, and experience with server-side frameworks, such as FastAPI, is a plus.
  6. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and build/deploy platforms such as Vercel.
  7. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for user experience and a strong commitment to delivering the highest-quality user experience.
  8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  9. Experience working with global teams
