Full Job Description
Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking an Software Engineer - Early Career. In this role, you will be part of a Software Engineering team and will be responsible for: designing, developing, testing, debugging, and documenting software; apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications; ensure software standards are met. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Radar Systems, Electronic Warfare, Kalman Filtering, Signal Processing, or Model Based Systems Engineering. Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or other major with applicable coursework. Desired skills - Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment with some skills in common scripting languages (ex: bash, Python) - Familiarity with configuration management with Git. - Experience working on Agile team. -Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-discipline team -Ability to effectively communicate technical issues and status Ability to work remotely Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
