Full Job Description
Lockheed Martin Rotary Mission Systems in Moorestown, New Jersey is seeking a full time Early Career Software Engineer. In this role, you will define mission critical requirements, develop windows and user interfaces for military personnel user experience, and integrate new capabilities into the premier self-defense system for the United States and allied Navies, the Aegis Combat System. Ability to implement software, complete L1 unit testing, L2 automated testing, or code inspections in Java, C++, or Python to troubleshoot software issues. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Java, C++, or Python and Linux/UNIX operating systems. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications -Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or closely related field. -Must have experience with Java, C++, or Python to troubleshoot software issues. -Proficient with Microsoft Office. -Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired skills -Experience with Linux/UNIX Operating Systems. -Experience with Javaswing, Angular, or React. -Familiarity with Agile product development methodology. -Experience in User Interface implementation. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to work in a collaborative and team based environment. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
