Responsibilities
- Respond to user inquiries and analyze feedback to drive system improvements
- Diagnose, resolve, and document technical issues within secure environments
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using VB.NET or C# within the .NET Framework
- Execute and document software R&D projects and enhancements
- Implement modern technologies and frameworks to optimize system performance and reliability
- Develop and maintain robust database solutions using SQL or other relational databases
- Conduct thorough unit testing (xUnit, NUnit, MSTest) to ensure code quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile setting to deliver high-quality software solutions
Required Skills and Experience
- Active U.S. Secret Clearance (with ability to obtain TS/SCI)
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in VB.NET or C#.NET development, including .NET Framework
- Strong SQL or relational database expertise
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in Windows 10/11 or Windows Server environments
- Familiarity with Windows desktop application development
- Experience with project management tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Background in Agile development environments
- Analytical and mathematical problem-solving skills
- C++ experience is a plus
- Security+ certification or advanced STEM degree preferred
