Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience with Cyber Security solutions and services in the enterprise segment, managing multiple stakeholders, and designing or building go-to-market models with Global System Integrators.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies. Professional coding experience in C/C , Rust, Go.

In this role, you will secure Google's production hardware by anchoring Google's silicon security stance in trustworthy hardware, developing, deploying, and managing foundational Root-of-Trust (RoT) identity services, RoT firmware, and firmware signing infrastructure to ensure hardware boots securely and to guard against severe low-level vulnerabilities at scale.

As a part of this role, your primary focus areas will include RoT identity provisioning and attestation, continuous alignment with industry standards (e.g., Caliptra, OpenTitan, TCG), and the strategic migration of services and hardware toward post-quantum cryptography (PQC).Google Cloud accelerates every organization's ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities
  • Join a dedicated team of software engineers working on components that form the core of trust for Google's Data Centers.
  • Own critical work that includes writing firmware and software that integrates with the RoT features and working alongside hardware manufacturers.
  • Collaborate with teams across Google to integrate products into Google's overall security strategy, and ensure Google's Cloud remains secure.
