Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with front-end and user interface development.
- Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Preferred qualifications:- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience with software like coLaboratory, JupyterLab, or other relevant tools.

Responsibilities - Participate in a tier 2 on-call rotation to support Colab's production services.
- Contribute to the exploration, design, and implementation of a frontend modernization effort, updating our codebase to align with modern, Google-standard infrastructure.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design and build an extensible frontend architecture that accelerates the development of new features.
- Develop and deliver high-quality, performance features for critical team projects.
- Design, build, and maintain robust frontend components and services for the Colab applications.
