Chipton-Ross is seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity in Hill AFB, UT.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- 7+ years of experience with C++ programming on Linux platforms (RHEL)
- 7+ years of experience with Python on Linux platforms (RHEL)
- 2+ years of experience with GIT, MAKE, and VSCode
- Hands on experience with Client/Server architecture and network administration
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESEfforts will include software development on Linux platform using C++ and Python. The applicant will be required to participate in requirements definition and design reviews as well as meeting local coding standards on a small team. Additionally, they will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and integrating software they develop. Good oral and written communication skills required as is the ability to flex and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- Joint Simulation Environment (JSE) experience desired
- ADA and PERL desired
REQUIRED EDUCATION- Accredited Bachelor's Degree.
WORK HOURSADDITIONAL- Active Secret clearance with an investigation within the last 5 years or CE enrollment.
