We9re looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join our Specs Lens Platform team at Snap Inc!! What you9ll do: b7 Design, develop, and support features for LensCore, the AR engine driving experiences on Specs, Snapchat Lenses and Lens Studio b7 Optimize LensCore engine for Specs b7 Work closely with other teams to bring your features to Lens creators b7 Participate in feature planning and creating technical specifications Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: b7 Strong computer science fundamentals b7 Great communication skills; ability to work in a team b7 Knowledge of scripting languages (one of Python orJavaScript) b7 Understanding of Linux/Unix environment and command line tools b7 Hands-on with AI dev tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Codex or similar) Minimum Qualifications: b7 BS in a technical field or equivalent years of experience b7 1+ years of industry C++ development experience Preferred Qualifications: b7 Experience with modern C++ b7 Technical leadership experience b7 Experience creating developer-facing APIs and libraries b7 Knowledge of Qt framework b7 Experience with rendering APIs such as DirectX, Metal, Vulkan or OpenGL b7 Experience with a 3D rendering engine like Lens Studio, Unity or Unreal b7 Experience with libraries like OpenCV, Eigen and glm. b7 Experience with computer vision, sensors, or machine learning "Default Together" Policy at Snap: At Snap Inc. we believe that being together in person helps us build our culture faster, reinforce our values, and serve our community, customers and partners better through dynamic collaboration. Compensation In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate9s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position.These pay zones may be modified in the future. Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): The base salary range for this position is $118,000-$176,000 annually. Zone B: The base salary range for this position is $112,000-$167,000 annually. Zone C: The base salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 annually. This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
