Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of software development experience in avionics
• Experience with avionics display software applications
• Full lifecycle software development experience under DO-178B/C
• Proficient in designing software architectures
• Skilled in object-oriented software design
• Able to code proficiently in C++
• Experience in creating software test cases based on requirements
• Familiar with safety-critical real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Knowledgeable in software configuration and change management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with initiative
• Ability to make autonomous decisions
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Develop core display applications for the Next Generation Avionics Platform
• Integrate and verify software systems for avionics displays
• Design software architectures for avionics applications
• Code software using C++ and adhere to DO-178 compliance
• Create and execute test cases based on user requirements
• Coordinate with cross-functional design teams to align on project objectives
• Continuously improve software development processes and practices
