Job Summary
The Enterprise IT Automation Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable AI Agents, automation and application solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform. This role partners with business and IT stakeholders to transform complex processes into efficient, reliable digital solutions that drive operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of automation and application solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate, Copilot and Power Apps) and other enterprise tools.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Design robust automation workflows, including exception handling, logging, monitoring, and resiliency.
Monitor and optimize production automations to ensure reliability, performance, and adherence to SLAs.
Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation strategies to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Contribute to enterprise automation standards, governance, and best practices, including security and compliance requirements.
Leverage Azure DevOps and Git for source control, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
Communicate project status, risks, and technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations aligned with enterprise automation strategy.
Key Skills
Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform:
Power Automate (Cloud & Desktop)
Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
Microsoft Copilot
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with APIs (REST/SOAP)
Programming experience in Python and/or C#
Experience with Azure DevOps and/or Git,
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and lead initiatives in a fast-paced environment
Experience with automation monitoring, alerting, and production support
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree with 5–7 years of experience, OR
High School Diploma/GED with 9–11 years of relevant experience
Additional Experience
Experience delivering enterprise-scale automation solutions
Experience leading or contributing to projects with significant budget and cross-functional impact
Work Environment / Physical Requirements
Work is performed in an office/home office environment.
Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
Team members may be asked to lift, carry, push, or pull objects. This position requires the ability to move equipment or packages up to 10 pounds. Team members may occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to service the lights and/or ceiling fans. Team members may also be asked to install or service equipment, including under desks, resulting in kneeling, stooping, or crouching.

Pay RateFinal pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
