Job Title: Software Engineer Advanced [MULTIPLE POSITIONS]

Job Location: Plano, TX

Job Type: Full Time

Rate of Pay: The salary range for this position in Plano, TX is $134,971 - $197,700.00 per year and this role may be eligible to earn incentive compensation. Duties: Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on-time delivery. Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanism. Understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Create, document, and execute software designs which may involve complicated workflows or multiple product areas. Technical lead of one or more projects within one area of a product. Provide input to the technical direction for one area of a product. Consult occasionally with customers in regard to future upgrades and products. Able to solve complex technical problems. Provide specialized expertise within multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as general knowledge of related disciplines, applications implications, and customer areas. Work with minimal supervision on complex projects with wide latitude for independent judgment.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 48 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a Software Engineer-related occupation. Position requires experience in the following: Working with AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, SNS, SQS, Lambda, Cloud Front, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation, Scalability and High Availability; Applying monitoring techniques for early problem detection and reporting; Working with Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) using programming languages such as Python & JavaScript; Using CI/CD pipelines; Working in multi-team, collaborative software development including source control and collaborative design and code reviews; Researching, designing and implementing micro-services delivering self-contained business functionality within a SaaS product. Telecommuting permitted pursuant to company policy.
