Full Job Description
We launched a new ad-supported tier in November 2022 and are building an in-house world-class ad tech ecosystem to offer our members more choices in consuming their content. Our new tier allows us to attract new members at a lower price point while also creating a compelling path for advertisers to reach deeply engaged audiences. We wrapped up our first two years of the journey and are well into year three with more exciting things to come! **Our Team** The Ads Audience Activation team ingests and activates Advertiser Custom Audiences and Conversion Events. The team also creates retargeting audiences based upon engagement and conversion signals. This team builds ingestion and processing services for third-party advertiser signals that are leveraged by targeting, measurement and downstream optimization systems. **Skills & experience we're seeking:** - Experience designing and building scalable batch and streaming advertiser custom audience data onboarding and activation systems for online advertising platforms. - Practical experience with streaming event architectures and related technologies (e.g., Kafka, Flink). - Familiarity with legal compliance and changing landscape of ads regulations around the world. - data sharing. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or similar, with a strong grasp of software development principles and design patterns. - Experience in developing distributed cloud-based applications and proficiency in modern programming languages, preferably object-oriented. - Proven experience in handling data at extremely large volumes with big data tools like Spark, and building high throughput low latency distributed systems. - Broad knowledge of ad tech and advertising landscape, programmatic advertising, and digital marketing trends. - Developed many cloud-based applications and comfortable with modern programming languages (preferably object-oriented). - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. **Nice to haves:** - Familiarity with data clean rooms and industry-leading privacy-enhancing technology for multi-party. - Experience working in the CTV space and knowledge of its unique constraints. Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $388,000.00 - $619,000.00. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
