What you will accomplish:
Job Duties: Develop code within the team and contribute to delivery. Define, design, and implement sophisticated multi-tier distributed software systems. Own features, components, multiple sub-systems. Implements extensible and maintainable software systems. Be accountable for the full lifecycle (monitoring and deployment to production) and operate independently with limited or no supervision. Understand business impact and make tradeoff decisions. Identify project risks, quantify risk/benefit, propose alternatives, and mitigation. Provide data-driven guidance to Product and engineering leads on roadmap items and influence technical directions within the team. Break down ambiguous problems into executable solutions. Write feature specs/release notes. Implement unit tests. Translate new feature requests with design options and estimations; proactively identify design/code issues and drive resolution. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across platforms. Communicate clearly (status, assumptions, blockers) and present ideas. Mentor junior Engineers. Contribute to demos, hiring, and knowledge sharing. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
What you will bring:
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, plus one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field, plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
1. Experience designing and developing large-scale software applications using Object-Oriented Design and Java (1 year);
2. Experience with RDBMS technologies (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL stores (Redis, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch) (1 year);
3. Experience with RESTful API frameworks and design patterns (1 year);
4. Experience with observability tools (Grafana and Prometheus), and experience documenting procedures for knowledge management (1 year);
5. Experience with Spring framework and Multi-threading development (1 year);
6. Experience with Agile development methodologies (1 year);
7. Incident management experience, including technical triage and troubleshooting (1 year).
Salary: $205,621.00-262,700.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Additional Details
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
