Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead critical & strategic Networking Initiative . In this role, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, design, delivery, and operational excellence of essential infrastructure components. You will lead a high-caliber team, ensuring the achievement of key objectives through exemplary leadership, talent development, and resource optimization. This position demands a seasoned professional who embodies OCI values and can navigate complex challenges to deliver exceptional outcomes.

As the Senior Director in OCI, you will provide leadership to multiple teams tasked with overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of infrastructure projects within OCI. Your role will involve ensuring that the team's objectives are consistently aligned with the broader organizational goals, maintaining a strategic focus on long-term infrastructure stability and scalability. By fostering a high-performance culture, you will mentor and develop team members, creating an environment that encourages continuous learning and professional growth.

In addition to your leadership duties, you will play a pivotal role in talent development within the team. Qualifications:
  • A BS or MS degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in people management, with a proven track record in managing large-scale critical service.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, resource management, and performance optimization within a technology-driven environment.
  • Exceptional decision-making abilities, with experience influencing senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong background in recruiting, developing, and leading senior individual contributors (ICs) and building high-performing teams.
  • Ability to make decisions that significantly impact the organization's infrastructure, with potential implications for revenue and long-term operational success.
  • Experience in Networking and Cloud Infrastructure Operations
  • Experience in managing a large-scale critical service in a Cloud computing
  • Expertise in Distributed Systems, Network Operating Systems, Network Orchestration and Controller


Responsibilities

As a Senior Director of the software engineering division, you will apply your extensive knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to current and future design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and envision improvements to the architecture.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $141,200 to $338,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
