Job Title: Software Development Engineer in Test
Location: San Francisco, CA – 6x a month (HIRING LOCALLY ONLY)

How You Will Make an Impact
- This role is an engineer who will focus more on designing and developing scalable end to end testing frameworks for data stores, data pipelines, services, and web front-end; doing data validation automation, perform API load testing, system security and data security testing.
- Uses Engineering skill sets to solve testing problems with high performance and scalability.
- Participates in engineering architect and discussion meetings and provide testing strategies.
- Research and prototype new tools to drive architectural decisions.
- Assesses and understands the flow of code and its interaction with various processes.
- Tests automation builds, execution, and script troubleshooting.
- Architect, design, and lead our automating testing infrastructure and testing strategy to support cloud continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Evaluate existing automation frameworks and define clear steps and processes to improve testing procedures.
Required Experience
- BS in software engineering, computer science, or related field
- 2+ years9 experience in software development with deep understanding of programming languages such as Python, Java, Java Script, SQL
- Current understanding of best practices regarding system security measures
- Proficient in CI/CD pipeline development
- Solid experience with GIT and source control
- Passion for solving complex problems and can-do attitude
- Strong communications skills
- Burning desire to learn and continually improve
What Sets You Apart
- Familiarity in data pipeline testing such as ETL tests, data warehouse tests, etc.
- Familiarity in BDD, Playwright, Locust and other testing platforms
- Familiarity with AI tools and technologies.

Actual base salary will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, prior experience, education, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
California: The expected base salary for the position is between 120000 USD to 135000 USD.
In addition, employees in this role may be eligible for consideration on an annual basis for a discretionary bonus and/or equity awards, such as restricted stock units or stock options, based upon individual and business performance at the company9s discretion.
