Job Description
WarCollar Industries is seeking a Software Developer/Systems Engineer to support the development and sustainment of enterprise data feeds that power network and security intelligence platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development and data engineering experience, along with the ability to integrate diverse vendor APIs and apply emerging AI capabilities to complex data extraction and normalization challenges.
Required Skills
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data feeds integrating 10+ network and security vendor APIs.
• Develop intelligent parsers capable of processing and normalizing diverse data formats.
• Build and orchestrate automated ETL pipelines for data collection, transformation, and loading.
• Monitor pipeline performance and reliability while implementing robust error handling and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and rapidly adapt to API changes, evolving data formats, and vendor-related issues.
• Integrate AI capabilities for data extraction, classification, anomaly detection, and automated remediation.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and tools for potential application and positive impact on project processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and mission teams to develop reliable, scalable, and secure data solutions.
Desired Skills
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining production data pipelines using Python.
• Demonstrated experience consuming and integrating REST APIs or similar APIs at scale.
• Familiarity with network and security tools such as Nmap, Rapid7, or comparable platforms.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications to improve development efficiency and code generation or response.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and systems engineering skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a mission-focused, fast-paced environment.
