The ideal candidate has experience working with Sitecore or another headless or hybrid content management system and understands how front-end applications, backend services, content platforms, and cloud infrastructure work together. This role will focus on accessibility, performance, reliability, automated testing, and high-quality user experiences throughout the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build responsive, mobile-first web experiences using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Develop reusable and authorable React components integrated with Sitecore CMS.
  • Build and maintain secure, scalable backend services and REST APIs using C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core.
  • Connect front-end applications with backend services, APIs, and Sitecore-driven content.
  • Support customer-facing e-commerce experiences, including product discovery, search, product details, cart, checkout, promotions, and discounts.
  • Design stable API contracts with appropriate versioning, backward compatibility, validation, and predictable behavior.
  • Ensure applications are accessible and developed with WCAG standards in mind.
  • Optimize web performance and stability, including Core Web Vitals such as LCP, CLS, and INP.
  • Build clean and dependable loading, error, and empty-state experiences.
  • Develop cloud-native solutions with attention to deployment, configuration, security, observability, resiliency, and performance.
  • Support controlled releases and A/B testing or experimentation without negatively affecting performance or stability.
  • Prepare applications and services to support high-traffic periods and peak customer demand.
  • Own quality throughout the development lifecycle by building and maintaining appropriate automated test coverage.
  • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with product, design, content, quality assurance, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences.
  • Use modern AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve productivity, code quality, and developer velocity.

Required Qualifications
  • Four or more years of professional experience building and supporting production web applications.
  • Strong experience with React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Hands-on experience with C#/.NET and building REST APIs using ASP.NET Core.
  • Experience with dependency injection, asynchronous programming, validation, error handling, and secure API development.
  • Experience integrating front-end applications with backend services and APIs.
  • Experience working with Sitecore, Contentful, or another headless or hybrid CMS.
  • Experience building mobile-first, responsive, and touch-friendly user experiences.
  • Experience developing or supporting customer-facing e-commerce journeys.
  • Strong automated testing experience across front-end and backend applications.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, xUnit, NUnit, MSTest, or similar tools.
  • Cloud-native development experience using Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Understanding of web accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive design.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Sitecore headless or composable architecture.
  • Production experience building backend services with Node.js.
  • Experience with Optimizely or another A/B testing and experimentation platform.
  • Experience supporting high-traffic consumer websites and preparing for peak-load events.
  • Understanding of CDN and edge-delivery behavior, including caching and its effect on application performance.
