Full Job Description
OpenText™ Cloud Platform (OCP) is our next-generation Information Management as a Service platform that enables development and deployment of multi-tenant SaaS applications. We are looking for a motivated Software Developer with an interest in full stack and AI development to join our platform engineering team.

This position is based in the OpenText office in Richmond Hill, Canada.

Your Impact:

We are looking for an individual with a foundational understanding of software engineering and a strong desire to build skills in full stack and AI development. You are eager to learn and contribute within a supportive team of experienced engineers.

Working under the guidance of senior team members, you will contribute to the development and integration of AI capabilities and robust backend services. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills and contribute to a highly scalable, reliable, and intelligent platform.

  • Exposure to frontend and backend development with REACT, Spring Boot and testing frameworks like JUnit.
  • Interest in/or academic exposure to AI concepts, with a desire to work with technologies like LangChain and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and core services.
  • Basic understanding of containerization (Docker) and CI/CD concepts.
  • A focus on writing clean, testable code and a growing understanding of scalability and security principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.

Salary Range: $86,800 - $130,200; Depending on the candidate's education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
