You will Work With:The vacant Software Developer role will report to the Leader, RTR Exchange.
You'll be responsible for: - Developing and maintaining the company's highly distributed, high-performance systems.
- Building and supporting resilient microservices applications, encompassing the full development lifecycles.
- Supporting the operations group in application problem analysis and resolution.
- Participating in rotating on-call support when required.
You bring: - A University degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years software development experience.
- Eligibility to work for Interac Corp. in Canada in a full-time capacity.
- Experience with REST API development and microservices architecture
- Experience in Java application development using frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Experience in database design and development using relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle)
- Experience in cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
- Experience in containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS.
- Experience in application security such as authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices
- Experience with event-driven and messaging-based architectures.
- Experience with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular.
- Experience working in agile development environments and contributing to the full software delivery lifecycle.
What We're Offering: The hiring range for this position is
$115,000-$125,000, and you will also be eligible for our short-term incentive plan.
