This role will work closely with the Technical Lead, Architects, Product Owners, QA, and other team members to develop, test, and support application features. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Node.js, Microservices, React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS and enjoys building maintainable, scalable software in an Agile development environment
This position is a hands-on development role focused on delivering high-quality code, participating in team collaboration, and continuously improving technical skills. The
Software Developer will receive technical direction from the Technical Lead and grow toward increasing ownership of application components and business capabilities.
Compensation Range: $100,000 to $120,000 + Bonus
Salary range reflects the Jersey City, NJ market & compensation may vary based on geographic location.
You will:
- Implement application features and enhancements based on technical designs and requirements.
- Develop and maintain applications using Node.js, React, Next.js
- Build and consume RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Technical Leads to understand business requirements and technical expectations.
- Contribute to story estimation and sprint planning activities.
- Work closely with other developers, QA engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in technical discussions and solution reviews.
You have:
- 3 to 5 years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with: Node.js, React and Next.js
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Experience using Git and modern source control practices.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
