Full Job Description
Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer (Combat Systems DevSecOps) - Early Career. In this role, you will be developing software using Java and/or C++ . Coding in/and leveraging related development tools and environments will be the major focus for this role. The successful candidate will have knowledge and/or experience with design and development of software using JAVA or C++. -Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Basic Qualifications - BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or closely related technical field - Knowledge and/or experience with tools like Jira, Git, BitBucket, Crucible and/or Confluence. - Knowledge and/or experience with design and development of software using JAVA or C++ -Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired Skills - Knowledge and/or experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and/or DevSecOps environment - Demonstrated interest and ability to learn new tools and technologies and successfully leverage those to successfully complete projects in a timely manner - Ability to work well in a team environment and independently - Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing Pay Information $61500.00 - $116455.00 The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. - For (Washington state applicants only) Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
