Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.

As our new Social Media Specialist, you will own the creation and execution of original content across social channels, cultivate influencer and ambassador relationships, and drive engagement in North America for a global company pioneering innovative water and energy-efficiency solutions. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive, and inclusive culture that celebrates our differences and puts people first by fostering growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.

You will follow a hybrid work model based in our office in Brookshire, TX.

What you will be doing

As a key part of the DBS Americas Marketing team, you'll create impact by developing effective content strategies and influencer programs that accelerate brand awareness and drive measurable marketing performance across global markets.

Your main responsibilities are to:
  • Create original short- and long-form content for social media, YouTube, trade media, and thought leadership - translating technical topics into compelling, audience-driven copy aligned with brand voice and style guides.
  • Develop and maintain a multi-platform content calendar coordinated with product launches, campaigns, events, and global market strategies, tracking performance through monthly reporting.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with industry influencers, brand ambassadors, and internal/external stakeholders
  • Establish sponsorship, promotional, and affiliate programs.
  • Lead social media community management through active social listening, conversation monitoring, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver timely, thoughtful, and on-brand responses.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers and agency partners to develop multimedia assets, and optimize SEO/SEM and digital advertising performance.
  • Track social media trends and online sentiment to identify opportunities for brand promotion.

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a creative, analytical content professional with strong copywriting skills, deep social media expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. We would also imagine that you have:
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field - or 5+ years of proven experience creating marketing content and social media initiatives that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion.
  • Working knowledge of all major social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, etc.) and management platforms such as Sprinklr.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to translate technical content into compelling, strategic copy.
  • Proven success growing online marketing campaigns and applying multimedia best practices across social media channels.

It is a plus if you also have:
  • Photography and videography skills for content creation.
  • Copywriting experience in a technical or B2B environment.
  • Knowledge of AP style, SEO/SEM best practices, and analytical reporting for digital campaigns.
