DescriptionJOB TITLE: Social Media Manager
LOCATION: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid; 3 days in office )
REPORTS TO: Director of Growth Marketing
About the RoleYou'll own end-to-end organic social strategy across two critical audiences at Sunbit: merchants and consumers.
For merchants, you'll engage practice owners, office managers, and operators who adopt Sunbit as their preferred financing partner. For consumers, you'll build awareness and drive acquisition so people actively seek out Sunbit and use our platform for the treatments and services they need.
This is a true builder role. You'll set the vision, create high-performing content, grow engaged communities, and deliver measurable results that fuel both merchant pipeline and consumer growth. You'll also partner closely with our Sunbeast associate community to amplify authentic, employee-driven stories.
What You'll Do- Own organic strategy, content calendar, and daily publishing across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Concept, shoot, edit, and publish platform-native short-form video, graphics, and carousels-briefing others as we scale.
- Build and nurture engaged merchant communities that convert followers into sales pipeline.
- Drive consumer acquisition and awareness-building a consumer-facing organic presence that gets people seeking out Sunbit and using our site to find where they can pay with us
- Partner with the Sunbeast team to source, elevate, and scale employee-generated content
- Define, track, and report on KPIs-follower growth, engagement rate, reach, share of voice, and contribution to merchant and consumer funnels
- Run a disciplined test-and-learn program on formats, hooks, posting cadence, and creative, and translate results into a clear point of view
- Collaborate with paid marketing teams and agencies to help ideate ad concepts and results
- Stay ahead of platform changes, algorithms, trends, and tools, and consistently bring fresh ideas to the table
RequirementsWhat You'll Bring- A proven track record building large, engaged audiences. You've personally or professionally grown a social presence to significant scale and can show the accounts and the metrics behind the growth. Building a following of 50,000+ on Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on content creation skills. You can independently produce platform-native content-short-form video, basic editing, and design-and you have a strong eye for what performs on each platform.
- Strong analytical mindset. You're comfortable in analytics (native platform insights, GA4, spreadsheets) and you make decisions from data, not vibes.
