Job Summary

The Social Media Manager will architect and oversee the execution of our comprehensive social media strategy while taking a hands-on, active role in high-impact content creation. This dynamic leadership position is responsible for directing a small, agile social media team, managing day-to-day operations, and aligning social milestones with higher management goals.

As a primary content creator, you will serve as one of the key on-camera faces of the brand's social presence. The ideal candidate blends high-level channel management-including UGC strategy, multi-platform campaign coordination, and content calendar optimization-with a passion for being in front of the camera. A strong focus will be placed on efficiently communicating deliverables to senior leadership and relentlessly executing strategy to meet and exceed audience growth and engagement targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership & Channel Management
  • Oversee and manage a small, dedicated social media team to ensure cohesive, high-quality, and consistent content output.
  • Direct multi-channel strategies spanning highly visual and text-based platforms (including TikTok, Instagram, X/Twitter, and YouTube).
  • Lead, motivate, and inspire team members to continuously innovate and elevate their creative execution.
  • Monitor performance metrics and compile detailed social media reports for executive leadership.
2. On-Camera Content Creation & UGC
  • Concept, shoot, and edit engaging, UGC-style social media content that aligns seamlessly with the established brand voice.
  • Regularly feature yourself on-camera in native short-form video content to build organic community connections.
  • Spearhead collaboration with external UGC creators and influencers to expand brand reach.
  • Maintain absolute visual and copy oversight across all active brand channels.
3. Trend Optimization & Workflows
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of internet culture, tracking emerging viral trends, audio clips, and trending topics.
  • Move quickly to ideate and publish rapid-response content capitalizing on real-time viral moments.
  • Utilize creative tools such as CapCut and Canva to execute fast-paced content turnarounds.
  • Own and optimize a structured, consistent social media content calendar.
Required Qualifications
  • Management Experience: Minimum of 1 year of direct team management experience required.
  • Domain Expertise: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in Social Media Management, alongside a deeply ingrained, up-to-date knowledge of shifting platform algorithms and trends.
  • Creative Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in creative content production, with a proven track record of working with UGC creators and digital influencers.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency with short-form mobile editing suites (CapCut) and asset design platforms (Canva).
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred (equivalent practical experience will be heavily considered).
