Job DescriptionWe're casting a Social Content Editor to partner with a Social Art Director as the two of you work directly with a small group of influencers who are filming and developing their own content. Together, you'll shape that raw footage into a finished nine-video series - staying true to the brand's guidelines while making the final videos feel truly native to the platform, not like a traditional commercial. Footage comes in from three creators on a rolling schedule, with editing happening in parallel as new footage lands. Production support is in place to help keep the schedule and handoffs on track.
- Cut all nine total vertical videos (9x16, roughly 30-60 seconds each) across three creators (three videos each).
- Work from shot lists and story points to build a complete narrative from raw creator footage - on-camera narration, voiceover, and B-roll all in the mix.
- Edit in a style that feels native to social: paced like a story a creator would tell, not a polished commercial.
- Cut on a rolling schedule as footage arrives in batches - you may be finishing one creator's edit while a second creator's footage is landing.
- Partner closely with the art director on where graphics land and how they hit, and with the producer on schedule and delivery.
Qualifications- A strong reel of social-first, influencer, or UGC-style edits. Traditional broadcast or commercial-only work is a harder fit for this one.
- Comfort building a story from real, sometimes messy raw footage rather than a locked script.
- Speed and flexibility to work a rolling schedule without losing craft.
- Full-time availability for the seven-week run to ensure on-time delivery of all assets.
