The Opportunity

Join our People team as an autonomous specialist driving a high-performance culture and mitigating organizational risk across our business sectors. As a Snr. Employee Relations Partner, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact for US People Managers on disciplinary matters, workplace conflicts, and employee grievances. You will collaborate directly with Employment Legal, client-facing HR Business Partners, and Senior Executives to deliver legally sound, strategic solutions to critical workforce issues in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate possesses deep expertise in labor compliance, maintains exceptional documentation practices, and remains calm and objective in high-stakes situations to ensure professional fairness across the organization.

What You'll Do
  • Employee Advisory & Conflict Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for US People Managers regarding employee grievances, corrective action alignment, and workplace conflict resolution.
  • Investigation Management: Independently lead and manage complex, sensitive workplace investigations from end-to-end for US operations, including allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct, policy breaches, and workplace violence.
  • Evidence & Reporting: Interview witnesses, collect and evaluate evidence, draft comprehensive investigation reports, and deliver objective, actionable recommendations to leadership.
  • Compliance & Legal Partnership: Apply advanced expertise in US federal, state, and local labor laws to ensure compliance. Partner directly with the Employment Legal department, HR Business Partners, and Senior Executives on high-stakes escalations.
  • Metrics & Risk Mitigation: Proactively monitor and analyze employee relations metrics, ticket trends, and attrition data within the HRIS to design targeted risk-mitigation strategies.
  • Performance Coaching: Partner with HR Business Partners and Executives to provide expert coaching on the corrective action process, conflict resolution, and performance management execution.
  • Disciplinary Execution: Draft and execute disciplinary actions, up to and including terminations, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation within the HRIS.
  • Policy & Training Development: Design, draft, and administer proactive company-wide Employee Relations policies. Develop and deliver targeted training sessions for US managers on performance management and documentation best practices.
What You Bring
  • You're a highly collaborative and client-experience focused professional who remains tactful, objective, and persuasive in confrontational or high-stakes corporate situations.
  • 5+ years of overall HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated specifically to Employee Relations, including a proven track record of leading complex US-based investigations from start to finish.
  • 2+ years of customer service or client-facing experience (can be outside of HR) paired with a high degree of business acumen and operational urgency.
  • Deep understanding of US federal, state, and local employment laws-including Title VII, ADA, and ADEA-with direct experience partnering with employment legal counsel.
  • Exceptional documentation practices, a thorough understanding of dispute resolution methodologies, and strong critical thinking skills.
  • High level of precision and detail-orientation, ensuring clear stakeholder communication and seamless cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Employee Relations, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs) and MS Office (Word, Excel).
Bonus points if you have:
  • Direct experience working with the Workday HRIS system.
  • Prior experience or knowledge within the technology or cybersecurity industry.
  • Professional HR certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
