Full Job Description
We are searching for a dynamic and experienced MathematicalGame Designer to join our industry-leading team in our Las Vegas or Chicago office.

Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility for own projects from concept to post-launch.
  • Develop and optimize mathematical models for slot machines in collaboration with other game designers and mathematicians.
  • Write simulations in our proprietary engine (C++) to aid the verification and playtesting of games.
  • Keep an up-to-date knowledge of market trends, new products, and innovations.
  • Ability and knowledge in core loop game balancing and economy to deliver unique and exciting game experiences.
  • Generate game-specific documentation containing the UI/UX flow of the project.
  • Work with a global team to design, implement, and verify game components in a fast-paced development cycle.
  • Build ideas based off solid business rationale: Apply solid design practices to support each product and feature with respect to their business goals

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of mathematical and statistical modeling, combinatorics, and probability theory.
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Excel and object-oriented programming (C++ preferred).
  • 5+ years of combined experience in game design and math for slot machines (land-based or social), with a minimum of 3 in mathematics roles.
  • Creative thinker and motivation to tackle business challenges.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Must love making and playing games!
  • Proficient knowledge of the English language (written and oral)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Familiarity with Claude or other AI tools
