What You Will Be Doing:

Collaborate with co-producers and suppliers to address production needs, relay lessons learned, and support major build and test events on-site at supplier/co-producer facilities.

Conduct critical design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with manufacturing processes.

Develop assembly plans and innovative solutions to address daily challenges, ensuring efficient production flow.

Create and maintain detailed manufacturing products and documentation.

Provide direct support on the production floor, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.

Utilize Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to develop manufacturing processes.

Interpret drawings and model-based designs, translating them into actionable steps for manufacturability for the production environment.

Collaborate with team members to explore out-of-the-box thinking and contribute to product improvement initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

- Bachelors degree required to apply

- Experience in a manufacturing environment working cross functionally with other disciplines including industrial engineering, planning, scheduling, Quality Assurance &/or production operations.

-Experience supporting vehicle systems installations & integration into a final product and/or rigging experience for moveable surfaces. Experience should include some combination of the following systems: electrical harness installation, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, related systems, landing gear, and door rigging.

-Active secret security clearance, with investigation in the last 5 years.

-Ability to obtain special program access within 3 months of start date with LM.

-Ability to travel 25 - 75% of the time, or based on business needs.

Desired Skills

STEM degree preferred.
-Experience in liaison role supporting production activities and rapidly resolving constraints to minimize production impact.
-Experience in test engineering, including experience authoring test procedures and supporting production execution of said tests.
-Experience supporting various projects and coordinating activities related to the full life cycle of projects from conception to delivery.
- Experience supporting build or test operations at a supplier or co-producer's facility.
-Demonstrated ability to drive issues to closure and develop preventative action plan to limit failures in the future.
-Demonstrated understanding of model based engineering principles, Lockheed Martin process specifications and manufacturing planning.
-Self-starter with ability to operate with limited direction.
-Previous experience with engineering releases and configuration change control.
-Proficient working in 3D modelling software (CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks, Nx), product Lifecycle Manager (PLM) programs (e.g. 3DX, Teamcenter, PDM, etc.), and MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) programs (iBASEt, SAP, etc.).

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
