Full Job Description
We're early in building this division. The team is small, the work is real, and there's room to grow with it. If you're looking for a place where your work actually matters and your voice gets heard, this is it.

This one is for someone who's unsatisfied with fine. Someone who wants to run tight sites, build real relationships, and exceed people's expectations.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Site Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations on commercial interior projects from mobilization through closeout. You will work directly with subtrades, clients, consultants, and our internal project team to deliver work that meets the EDGE standard.

You will report directly to the Director and work closely with the project team. This is a hands-on leadership role. You lead by example, get into the details, and keep things moving.

WHAT THE WORK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE

- Leading site operations on tenant improvement projects in active, occupied commercial buildings.

- Coordinating and scheduling subtrades in constrained environments where sequencing matters.

- Communicating clearly and proactively with clients, consultants, trades, inspectors, and the internal team.

- Running a clean, organized, professional site that reflects the standard we have set.

- Identifying risks and deficiencies early and solving problems before they become expensive.

- Upholding EDGE safety culture and full WorkSafeBC compliance.

- Being available for evening or after-hours work when the project requires it. We will be upfront about this: most of our projects are in occupied buildings, which means some of the best work windows are outside regular hours. It is not every night, but it is a real part of the role. The right candidate will see this as an advantage, not a drawback.

WHAT YOU BRING

Experience and Credentials

- Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience in commercial or institutional construction

- Hands-on carpentry skills are a strong asset

- Trade background or Gold Seal Certification is an asset

- Experience in occupied environments or tenant improvement work is a real advantage

Skills and Attributes

- Strong communicator: You lead with clarity, not just authority.

- Organized and solutions-focused with the ability to make good decisions under pressure

- Collaborative. You build trust with subtrades, clients, and consultants.

- High attention to detail and genuine pride in the quality of your work.

- Commitment to safety, accountability, and doing things the right way.

- Proficiency in MS Office; Procore, MS Project, or SiteMax is a bonus.

WHY JOIN EDGE

- Direct access to leadership and a real say in how the division grows.

- Diverse meaningful projects: commercial interiors, capital improvements, complex sequencing, real problem-solving

- A team that communicates well, holds each other accountable, and genuinely enjoys the work.

- Competitive salary, vehicle allowance, performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

- An environment where initiative is recognized and results are rewarded.
