Job DescriptionSite Superintendent (High-Rise Construction)Ottawa, OntarioSupervise the construction activities of an assigned construction site to ensure units are delivered on schedule, with appropriate specifications, and on budget.
Here's how you'll contribute - Coordinates work schedules and assign work to all staff;
- Provides weekly updates and meetings on project status to all staff;
- Ensures all reports, records, timesheets, and relevant documentation are submitted on time;
- Approves trade partner invoices for payment;
- Orders construction material from suppliers i.e. steel, wood, windows, trusses;
- Reviews and revises architectural changes and customer extras on drawings and plans;
- Works with and manages the Warranty expectations throughout the project;
- Ensure after-hours and weekend security is in place for the construction site;
- Responsible for performance evaluation and career development plans of staff;
- Responsible for the Health and Safety requirements as per MOL regs and Minto's H&S Policies;
- Continuously pursues cost-effective alternatives to improve financial performance in all areas;
- Accountable for the allowance budgets;
- Supervises, trains, and provides direction on all work performed on-site by trade partners, and Minto staff;
- Builds, manages, and maintains a high-performance team through effective talent recruitment, coaching, and development;
- Sets high standards, establishes accountabilities, and measures performance consistent with Minto's Values;
- Inspects the work site continuously to ensure all Minto staff and trades partners abide by Ministry of Ontario Labour regulations and Minto's Health & Safety Policies;
- Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

- High School Diploma is required, a College Diploma is an asset (i.e., architectural, construction management).
- Minimum five to seven (5-7) years in the construction industry (preferably high-rise).
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), Outlook
- Knowledge of Procore is an asset
- Bilingualism is an asset

Hiring pay range: $115,000-$125,000
