Full Job Description
We are looking for aggressive technical individuals with an ambition to learn, grow, contribute, and lead. Geon Technologies has an immediate need for a Site Reliability Engineer.

About the Job:
  • Experience with automating the deployment, scaling and management of containerized application using Kubernetes and related tools
  • Collaborate with developers to create and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast and efficient delivery of software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kubernetes infrastructure, applications and networking
  • Experience coordinating with development teams to streamline code deployment
  • Conduct system tests for security, performance, availability and reliability
  • Ensure the stable performance of the infrastructure in a large-scale setting and know how to scale that infrastructure
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineer, electrical engineering, or related math/science/engineering field
  • 8+ yrs experience
  • Active Security Clearance Required

About the work:

In May of 2019, Amazon opened its first AWS Ground Station, a "virtualized segment for ground processing" of satellite signals that support 54 MHz uplink and 500 MHz downlink processing using the proven AWS Cloud Services and technologies. Microsoft Orbital and Google were close behind with their own satellite processing architectures based on cloud services and technologies. Geon Technologies provides wage ranges in accordance with the Maryland Wage Range Transparency law.Pay within the range will be decided by the company in its sole discretion and will be based on several factors including but not limited to experience and/or other qualifications. The projected pay range for this position is $200,000- $240,000.
