Full Job Description
We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with Oracle DBA expertise to join our client's Data Center Engineering team. This role focuses on ensuring uptime, scalability, and resilience of mission-critical Oracle database infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Administer Oracle DB environments (9i, 10g, 11g, 12c, 19c) - installation, configuration, troubleshooting, maintenance.
Design & implement Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies and backup/recovery solutions (RMAN, CommVault, NetApps).
Manage standalone & clustered environments, migrations, and performance tuning.
Work with GoldenGate replication for high availability.
Automate DBA tasks with Shell/Perl scripting.
Mentor junior DBAs and recommend improvements for performance & capacity.
Required Skills
4-7 years of Oracle DBA experience in production & development servers.
Strong expertise in backup, recovery, DR, and migrations.
Hands-on with GoldenGate and RMAN.
Proficiency in Shell scripting/automation.
Proven troubleshooting skills in mission-critical environments.
Exposure to PostgreSQL is a plus.
