Full Job Description
Insight Global is currently seeking a Site Quality Supervisor for a new 10-year Hydro project in Bridgeport, WA. The role involves ensuring compliance with all technical requirements and engineering drawings during erection and commissioning, establishing a project quality management system in agreement with the Project Director and Project Quality Leader, and creating a verification plan to ensure adherence to the Quality Plan throughout the project. Responsibilities include reporting and escalating quality matters to the project team, training team members in quality tools, assisting in the preparation of project-specific procedures and quality deliverables, and acting as the main quality representative at the site, promoting awareness of the STOP Work strategy. The role also includes participating in post-handover tasks, preparing mitigation plans, reviewing contract QA requirements, establishing project-specific Supplier Quality Requirements, implementing project-specific methods driven by customer requirements, and analyzing lessons learned from previous projects. During project execution, the role involves ensuring the implementation of steering documents, controlling and distributing documents, coordinating inspections, participating in audits, ensuring proper qualification of staff for special processes, and managing non-conformities. The role also includes preparing monthly audit and verification statistics, monitoring non-conformance requests, assisting in root cause analysis, ensuring the availability of current technical documentation, providing QA performance statistics, and coordinating QA/QC activities between the project quality and site teams. Finally, the role involves preparing for project closure by driving the closure of open items, capturing lessons learned, ensuring all project dossiers are closed, and coordinating handover milestones.

Required Skills & Experience
• Minimum of 10-years of prior construction quality control experience (prefer Hydro Generator Experience)
• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) from an accredited university or college; or equivalent experience. (heavy mechanical installation)
• CQM (Construction Quality Management) training completion required with experience on a federal site requiring CQM training
• Project Management experienced with a background in Quality and/or Engineering and/or installation Operations
• Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings is requested (mechanical, piping, electrical)
• Familiarity with the layout of hydroelectric powerhouses OR large power generation houses
• Knowledge of construction and installation quality systems on federally regulated sites, including policies and procedures
