Responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) within the department.

  • Identify required labor and skills for executing the planned maintenance program.

  • Job Title : Site Maintenance Manager
  • Location : Fairfax Site - Kansas City
  • Type of contract : Long-term At-will


Responsibilities :
  • Ensure the implementation, maintenance and effective operation of the IMS, ensures that the requirements of this system are communicated, followed, maintained in their Department.
  • This position has the authority and responsibility to stop any process that endangers the safety or health of personnel, significant impacts on the environment, as well as the quality of the product that affect our customers, ensuring that the corresponding procedures are followed within the IMS.
  • Responsible for the assurance of actions for the prevention of fires and environmental impacts through the IMS, have coordination role as part of crisis management team
  • Develop, contribute to, and promote the energy management system by tracking energy consumption and follow-up action plans to identify opportunities for efficient controls and ensure compliance with the internal Energy Policy. Define the internal resources to develop the internal energy awareness and lead the energy committee.
  • Ensure the monitoring of RTO is running and should log when is out of service. Monitoring of paint waste water and inspection of storage areas
  • Creates, develops and manages planned predictive, preventative and curative maintenance programs, including documentation and reporting for the on-site facilities that help in the prevention of fire, accidents, environmental impacts and reduction of energy consumption and raw material
  • Identifies labor and skills required to deliver the planned preventative maintenance programme
  • Supports the management of the maintenance budget through accurate cost allocation and analysis
  • Creates a fully controlled maintenance stores system


Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Technician certification with a specialty in several of the following fields (mechanical, electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, PLC).
  • Proven experience (7-9 years) in maintenance of complex production equipment and previous experience in maintenance management.
  • Experience in a large manufacturing environment, with a background to problem solving, using analytical tools
