Extended work weeks to include Saturdays and/or Sundays or holidays as requested or required based on business needs.Responsibilities/ AccountabilitiesOperational ExcellenceCost Productivity: Drive constraint/critical formulation projectsDrive throughput improvement projects on constraint/critical lineIdentify scope of improvement - short / long term capacity debottlenecks area.Capacity challenges across units to support new and current business & filling requirements.Ensure and plan the execution of improvement projects in co-ordination with Business / CI and manufacturing team.Identify and managing scope for opportunity / improvement by analysing the trends of batches for continuous improvement.Ensure HSE and cGMP practices are strictly followed during continues improvement projects. Compilation of all completed projects and financial impact achieved for tracking of savings along with CFT alignment.Instrumentation and Automation: Improvement & Tracking of Equipment Efficiencies
Oversee automation and control systems projects across all Units which operate with highly complex automation platforms and instrumentation systems that are essential to both manufacturing and packaging operations.Resolve equipment breakdowns which are related to specialized automation hardware, software, and control system issues with strong hands-on technical expertise combined with effective leadership and troubleshooting capabilities.Initiate OEE tracking of bottleneck lines to identify losses and drive improvement projects related to Opex driven by Operational Excellence team in each unit/Block.Process Robustness & Capability Building:
- Improve process capability of products highlighted by units using DMAIC approach - As per business need.
- Excel & PowerPoint first hand trainings to unit team
AA-based process capability improvement for enabling 'golden batch' outcomes.
- AA based cycle time variability reduction driving production improvement.
- Digital-and-analytics led dynamic real-time manpower allocation.
- Support to execute the site specific project management for the aspiration for manufacturing technology upgradation (including automation), basis business need.
Education Qualifications
- Preferably a Graduate in Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineer
Experience, Skills & Competencies10-15 years of experience in Manufacturing/Engineering/ Automation field, with a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus).Proven ability in problem-solving and strong analytical skills.Quick learner with a keen interest in new technologies and tackling complex challenges.Solid knowledge of process engineering.Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.Demonstrated ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams (CFT).Proficient in basic statistical tools, applications, and data analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to driving innovation and improvements.InvaGen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
