Responsibilities

  • Innovatively source candidates utilizing social media for recruitment.
  • Network with industry representatives and educational institutions to build candidate pipelines.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and manage employment paperwork, including I-9 and E-Verify documentation.
  • Lead the logistics and organization of intercompany training programs.
  • Coordinate personnel relocation details in collaboration with leadership.
  • Act as a liaison with the payroll department for processing various employee changes.
  • Drive ongoing leadership development initiatives to boost organizational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all HR regulations and monitor organizational policies.
  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring effective communication and action.

Nammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Manager to join our team. You will work on-site at our Nammo Perry facility and be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all site Human Resource functions and activities with a heavy emphasis on recruitment and employee relations. You will partner with employees and leaders to align business and people strategies to meet the goals and objectives of the organization. This position will report directly to the President/General Manager of Nammo Perry.

What You'll Do: Precision in Action
  • Will operate with a higher level of autonomy while staying engaged with the President/Site GM on human resources functions.
  • Interact with site leadership and employee base as well as collaborate with other Nammo facilities.
  • Full life cycle recruitment for new team members to include entry level production as well as exempt-professional technical and administrative staff.
  • Establish talent acquisition strategies designed to effectively source talent that supports the company's mission and prepares for future growth
  • Creatively source top talent to include leveraging social media to support recruitment objectives
  • Network through industry contacts, college/trade school contacts, association memberships, trade groups, career fairs and current employees.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation along with associated paperwork including I-9 and E-Verify documentation.
  • Serve as primary lead for implementing the logistics/ organization of intercompany training programs.
  • Coordinate practical arrangements related to personnel relocation in co-operation with President/General Manager or Project Manager.
  • Serve as the liaison between the payroll department and employees to process paperwork for all employee changes, new hires, terminations, change in title, pay, department, etc.
  • Partner to promote ongoing leadership development and drive organizational results.
  • Support regulatory compliance achievement and monitoring in all areas of HR for the organization.
  • Manage employee relations by investigating, resolving, and communicating employee questions, issues, and concerns. Help to determine and execute appropriate course of action.
  • Coordinate training for leaders and employees to ensure consistency and compliance within regulatory requirements and related policies and procedures. Partners with other system functions for consistent delivery of training.
  • Collaborates with all HR teams to enhance and facilitate performance improvement. Maintain and conduct the performance evaluation cycle, including training staff how to effectively complete the form and process.

What Dedicated Teammates Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Human resources, business or other related field.
  • 7+ years of Human Resource Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Technical expertise in HR body of knowledge, HR Certification SHRM or HRCI is preferred.
  • Ability to obtain BATFE approval to work with our products as an Employee Possessor is required.
