Primary Purpose

Are you a strategic HR leader who thrives at the intersection of people, performance, and business outcomes? As an HR Business Partner, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to Distribution Center leadership, embedding HR strategy into functional areas to directly support business goals.

In this highly visible role, you'll bring business, operational, analytics, and talent management acumen to shape organizational capabilities, strengthen leadership pipelines, and build a high-performance, inclusive culture. You won't just support the business-you'll influence it, helping leaders make smarter people decisions that drive results.

What You'll Do & Deliver
  • Be a Strategic Advisor to the Business
    Collaborate with functional leaders to identify and build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes that enable business strategy. Translate business objectives into talent and workforce solutions.
  • Lead High-Impact HR Initiatives
    Drive critical HR programs and special projects across performance management, leadership development, legal compliance, diversity & inclusion, and union awareness.
  • Develop Leaders & Talent Pipelines
    Guide succession planning, individual development planning (IDPs), and leadership development initiatives. Forecast talent needs and build future-ready pipelines through innovative recruiting and college partnerships.
  • Elevate Associate Engagement & Culture
    Provide insights and lead action planning to strengthen engagement, foster a winning culture, and reinforce a performance-driven mindset.
  • Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
    Promote inclusive staffing, development, and associate relations practices. Ensure diverse candidate slates and equitable talent processes.
  • Drive Workforce Planning & Talent Strategy
    Utilize strategic workforce plans to guide recruitment and pipeline initiatives. Partner with Talent and Learning teams on modern sourcing, development, and capability-building approaches.
  • Lead and Develop HR Teams
    Manage and coach HR Generalists and Coordinators, ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and best practices.
  • Support Change Management & Communications
    Proactively support internal communications and change initiatives, helping leaders navigate organizational transformation.
  • Serve as an Internal Consultant
    Build strong relationships across Brand leadership, HR Centers of Excellence, and functional teams. Proactively identify people-related risks and opportunities and provide strategic, data-driven counsel.
  • Drive Performance & Accountability
    Partner with functional areas to ensure associates understand how their work contributes to business success. Embed performance management and accountability into everyday operations.
What We're Looking For

Experience & Education
  • 3-5 years of experience in HR, business administration, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred) or relevant work experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Willingness to travel 10-20% outside the home office
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
